Parent's Night In Kids Klub

Parent’s are invited to come see what Kids Klub is all about this Wednesday night!!  If you stay for the adult Bible study, your child(ren) will get an extra $100 Kids Klub bucks to use in the Kids Klub store!  We can’t wait to see you there!  

Christian Free Clinic Needs Volunteers!

The Christian Free Clinic is growing.  The dedicated staff of volunteers, nurses, doctors, etc… serve faithfully every Tuesday evening.  Due to the growth of the various ministries of the church, the clinic is looking for a couple of volunteers to help tear down and clean up.  They would be asked to arrive at the clinic around 8:00 PM to help put the classrooms back in order and have them ready for Wednesday morning’s preschool.  It would be especially helpful to have a man helping as we do move some furniture, etc.

It's in the news everyday: we must "go green" and protect the life of our planet.  And rightly so.  We must be good stewards of what God has given us.  But we also need to be good stewards of the mandate to make and be disciples of Christ.  Every Sunday morning at 9:15 am, you have the opportunity to grow in your faith.  So this coming church year, GO GREEN!

Co-Ed Volleyball Sign-ups

If you would like to play for the co-ed volleyball team, please contact the church office by phone at (540) 473-2861 or e-mail.  Games will be played on Monday nights beginning September 15th.  All games will be played at Oakland Baptist Church and you must be at least 18 to participate.

Financial Peace University
September 7th - December 7th, 2008

Financial Peace University is a biblically-based, video-driven, small group study that teaches families to beat debt, build wealth, and give like never before.
