Rev. Kevin Cummings received a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1989. He
received a Master's degree from Philadelphia Biblical University Graduate School in 1996. He served churches in
Pennsylvania and New Jersey before becoming Senior Pastor of FBC in October, 1997. Kevin has been married to
Terri since 1988, and together, they have two children-Brent and Ashley.
During his time as pastor of FBC, the church has experienced considerable growth numerically and spiritually. Our annual budget
and our Sunday morning worship attendance has more than quadrupled as he has led FBC through multiple building projects, the
hiring of additional staff, several capital stewardship campaigns and a total church relocation to 20 acres of land just outside
of Fincastle. A missionary kid, Pastor Kevin has a heart for missions and evangelism and has led numerous mission trips
around the world. He has also written several spiritual growth campaigns which have been used by churches
all over the United States.
Pastor Kevin has served the Southern Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia (SBCV) on multiple
committees and ministry boards. A avid sports fan, currently he leads a daily devotional on ESPN Radio called "Take a time out"
and serves as Chaplin for the James River and Lord Botetourt High School varsity football teams. Pastor Kevin enjoys
spending time with his family, golf, softball, football and is known for his huge Christmas lights display.
Kevin's favorite verse is I Timothy 1:12: "I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that He considered me faithful,
appointing me to His service."

Shane graduated from Lord Botetourt High School in 2001 and received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Bluefield College in
2005. He received his Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty Theological Seminary in 2008. Shane is married to Megan and
they have two beautiful children, Makayla and Micah. Shane enjoys spending time with his family, hanging out with students and
playing golf, basketball, baseball, football and video games.
Shane's favorite verse is I Cor. 9:24-27: "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one get the prize? Run in
such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown
that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do
not fight like a man beating the air. No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself
will not be disqualified for the prize."

Jennifer Aylor was born in San Antonio TX, but spent her years growing up all over the world as an Air Force
brat. She settled in Colorado where she began her college studies in music and elementary education at Colorado
Christian University. In 1993, she graduated from CCU with a Liberal Arts degree and began teaching. That
same year she married her husband, Scott. The next seven years were filled with joy and exhaustion as their
tiny family of two quickly grew to seven with the births of their five boys. During this time, Jennifer stayed
home to raise their children, but continued to be involved in music ministry through worship leading, song writing, and
playing with several worship bands. In 2003, Scott and Jennifer moved their family to Troutville,
Virginia. In 2004, Jennifer started a tea company and later opened a tearoom near Fincastle. Three years
later, Jennifer and Scott sold the tea business, and Jennifer became part of the staff at Fincastle Baptist - serving as
the Preschool Director. Currently, Jennifer is enjoying the challenges of opening a new church-affiliated preschool,
slated to open its doors for the 2008-09 school year.
Jennifer's favorite verse: James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift comes from above, coming down from the
Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
